Natural edged Oak Burr bowl

This is a truly fabulous piece of timber which I thoroughly enjoyed turning and which should give somebody years of pleasurable use. The outside edge is the shape of the burr as it came off the tree with a piece of bark still attached in one place. The sanding and polishing became a challenge due the speed and sharpness of the rough edges whilst the bowl was spinning on the lathe. The resulting piece is a true one off. It has been signed and finished by hand using a natural wax polish to give it a beautiful soft sheen.
Approx. 14” to 15” across x 2.5” high.
