These 2 Grass vases are made from beautiful dark pieces of Indian Laurel a hardwood that is difficult to come by these days. It was originally purchased during my Lace Bobbin days many years ago and had sat forgotten on the shelf until recently.

The grain on these 2 vases is a deep purple black colour with slightly lighter streaks running through it. Each pot has been hand turned, hand sanded, sealed and given a natural wax finish to reveal the graining within the wood.

The pots are each approx. 9“ high and approx. 1.5” and 2“ in diam. respectively
