This superb piece of Ash, normally a plain light coloured wood, has a bit of everything. The light coloured sap wood has some dark edged spalting whilst the heartwood is nice and dark with a lovely ripple in it. the colours range from a light cream through to a fabulous rich honey colour.
The outer rim is raised up off the surface it sits on to enhance its graceful outline and to ensure that it can be easily picked up.
The overall diameter of this bowl is approx. 13.5” x 3” high with the inner bowl being just over 7” in diameter.
Suitable only for dry goods.
